Nethercott Manor Reviews

Martyn
Older well equipped property with plenty of character and original features. Quiet rural location, with secure garden for dogs. Central location means most tourist hotspots within an hour's drive, mostly on good A roads.
J D
An excellent property, beautifully maintained in an ideal position.
Susie
Lovely cottageâ?¦ in a beautiful situation, overlooking fieldsâ?¦ very spacious and comfortable, and perfect for dogs with a totally secure garden.
Martyn
Nethercott Manor is a large, spacious and very comfortable property. It is clean and very well equipped. The Kitchen, in particular, is of very high quality, yet it retains some old features. We felt very much at home at Nethercott Manor - so much so, that we did not want to leave! The general area around Nethercott is very rural and quiet. It is our firm intention to return there in 2026. Highly recommended.
Rebecca
A beautiful and spacious farmhouse which we enjoyed as much on our second visit as our first. The owner Marie was friendly and super helpful. The large, dog secure garden was perfect for us and our two dogs and the cottage is very well equipped too.
Philippa
A lovely huge old house that we loved, the dogs loved it, beautifully kept garden and a lovely round side garden. The house had everything we needed. We loved the lounge and the kitchen, there was a heatwave when we stayed and the thick walls kept us lovely and cool.
Jacqueline

We were blown away by this spectacular cottage. Everything was so clean . Kitchen was amazing and had everything you would need . Very comfortable beds and sofas. The owner came to welcome us which was lovely . There is a games room , we played pool a lot :) Good size garden . Stunning location, very quiet . Would love to stay again and would definitely recommend to all my friends and family .
Sara
Beautiful property full of character, loads of space for the 4 it sleeps! Utility room very useful for sorting muddy dogs out before allowing them access to the kitchen! Aga was simple to master and we cooked an amazing roast, so warm inside. The when log burner made it toasty warm particularly when it snowed outside. Good central location to visit surrounding area only downside no pub in staggering distance but not a deal breaker for us. Would definitely recommend and stay here again if allowed.
Anita
This is a fabulous property in a stunning setting. Marie is very welcoming and helpful always at the end of the phone! We stayed in the winter and it snowed, it was magical! Definitely recommend.
Steven

Lovely cottage with loads of character. Very spacious and comfortable property. Good sized secure back garden, perfect for dogs. Walks directly out of the back garden, across fields down to a pond and stream. We had a lovely holiday and Marie was brilliant. So welcoming and came to check we were ok. Would definitely return to this characterful, quirky cottage.
Julie
This is a beautiful, spacious, well equipped property set in idyllic countryside with unspoilt views across open fields. The owner was very welcoming & also very keen for us to contact her should any problems occur (we didnâ??t encounter any!).

I had a loveley stay at Nethercott manor with my westies. Really love the house and garden. Very nice enclosed garden and also a field were we could walk the dogs up to a small stream. Marie is a great host! Nice and warm welcome, answering all questions immediately. Love to be back in the future.
Keith
Loved the cottage very spacious lovely owners on site would recommend we will be returning
Linda
It's a very old but well maintained property, I'm sure some people would nit pick about having to use more than one switch to turn kitchen diner lights on/off. To them I would say 'get a grip ' 'chill out' and listen to the silence, wonderful!
Dawn
Me and my friend stayed with her little daughter and 2 dogs, there was plenty of space, all the rooms are really big and a lovely enclosed garden. It was so peaceful surrounded by fields. There is a lovely stream that the dogs enjoyed playing in too. There was some scaffolding work going on for a couple of days which I was aware of when I booked, and we had a discounted rate for, we went out exploring the area for most of the time they were working anyway, but the owner still came round on our last evening to give us both some flowers and my friends little girl a little treat as an apology for the disruption which was really lovely. We both had a lovely time here and would definatly recommend staying here.
Sarah-Jane
We spent a lovely week at this superb cottage. The hosts were very helpful and friendly and the cottage was spotless, well equipped and comfortable. It had lovely enclosed garden and the location is beautifully quiet with lots of places to walk.
Anthony
Very comfortable, and in a quiet location. A most enjoyable stay.
Kim
Loved our stay at Nethercott Manor, cottage VERY spacious, well equipped and comfortable (best night sleep for ages). The host was lovely and always available if we needed anything. The location was so peaceful (except for the birdsong and wonderful sounds of nature). The garden was a was perfect and a lovely picnic area at bottom of field with little waterfall. We will return x
Rebecca
Lovely spacious cottage with everything we needed for a short break away from the hustle of life. Hosts communication was great. We will look to return again!
Deirdre
We and our 2 dogs had a great week at Nethercott Manor. It was spotlessly clean with a well stocked and roomy kitchen. The living room was a generous size with big, comfy sofas. The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable and we slept like logs all week. Lots of room inside and outside for the dogs to roam around. The walks around the farm were beautiful. Marie and her mum were lovely and answered any queries very quickly. The location was perfect for quiet times but only 15 minutes from South Molton and other places with supermarkets and pubs and restaurants. Thank you very much for a great week. We look forward to staying with you again.
Angela
Wonderful cottage, this was our second stay, and we will be back next year.
