Number 19 Reviews

Juliet
Really useful to have a garage, cottage very comfortable and modern.
Samantha
Overall, we loved the location â?? itâ??s a fantastic spot â?? and the upstairs living area is a lovely, bright space to spend time in. We were pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was for such a central location. Having use of the garage was also a real bonus. Itâ??s a lovely place in many ways, and we enjoyed much about our stay, but a few things did take the shine off the experience a little - most can be easily fixed so we have fed them back to the owner. Potential guests should be aware that the second bedroom has no windows so does lack ventilation and natural light.
Nicola
Garage is the biggest benefit of this well equipped cottage. Nice location with shops and good eateries nearby. Front bedroom is noisy at night and early morning when the bins at side of property are being emptied! Blinds and secondary glazing would be a great addition to the bedroom. Dartmouth is a lovely place to visit and we didnâ??t need to use the car all week travelling by ferry steam train and bus. A previous review (August)mentioned the dryer not working sadly it still isnâ??t would have been nice to be forewarned as no airer either. We would book again if issues with front bedroom were addressed .
George
Have already advised close friend who is more than interested in booking for next year
Ian
We had a great week in Dartmouth and the surrounding area. The house is very conveniently located in the town and parking in the wide garage was easy. The house had everything we wanted. We'd go back.
Jonathan
Fantastic location in Dartmouth with a garage! That alone ticked the boxes that made us book. The property has been done out tastefully and although it seemed odd having a shower in the bedroom, it worked well for us (& was a great shower) as we had a teenager with us! So two bathrooms great! Only problem is the washer/dryer didnâ??t work properly and there wasnâ??t time for them to do anything about it during our stay. The agents bought us an airer to dry our wet clothes on. No idea why one isnâ??t supplied at the property. Hopefully they will sort that problem out with a new machine and if so, we would happily stay again. Note they are not generous with towels so you might want to bring a few of your own especially if staying longer than a few days and want to wash your hair!
Diane
The house was in an ideal location for my husband and myself, easy to pop in and out during the day , close to the shops and restaurants etc. Also the bonus was the garage , absolutely brilliant due to the parking restrictions around the town.
Marlene
Beautiful airy clean comfortable two storey house with added bonus of the patio with a view to the river on one side. We were able to enjoy the sunny weather as well as be in the heart of the town and a minute from the stunning river front.
Charlotte
Fab cottage, very clean, everything you need for self catering, dog friendly. Having the large garage was brilliant so no parking issues and we used it to dry the dog off before entering the cottage. Very close to the ferry from Kingswear. Great location, we had a great stay.
Melanie
We had an absolutely brilliant week in Dartmouth. The location of this property was perfect for us and the addition of a garage was wonderful. Did not want to leave. Would not hesitate to stay here again.
Carol
Very beautiful cottage, location perfect Only downside is the front bedroom can be noisy, at one point we have workmen turn up at 10.30pm and worked until 12.30am putting up Christmas lights I think- letâ??s say with the bright lights and chatter sleep wasnâ??t possible
Nigel
Great location and features.
Helen
This lovely 'upside-down' house was in a fantastic spot with a massive garage for our VW van, a lovely outside terrace with a view of the beautiful river and Kingswear. The house was nicely furnished and had all the usual equipment and amenities. Nice shower. We had great weather and spent our week in and around the town. Lots to do with various boat trips and steam train, boat down to the castle and church etc so we only went out in our vehicle on one occasion to go to the beach.
Robert
Absolute gem of a cottage, ideally located in the centre of town, garage is huge bonus
David
We found the accommodation to be ideally placed for access to all the attractions that Dartmouth has to offer. The accommodation was very comfortable and well equipped. Having the car close by and secure in a garage is an added bonus.
Robert
Lovely location in the heart of Dartmouth with added bonus of a garage. Highly recommend and will happily come back again.
Dawn
A lovely apartment in a fantastic location in the heart of the town with the added bonus of a garage for off street parking. Would definitely stay here again.
Wendy
Excellent location, lovely place to stay. Large garage to suit any vehicle.
Christine
Quality décor and fittings. Excellent position, easy access to everything. Garage was a big plus. We enjoyed our stay in Dartmouth
Keith
A lovely upside down cottage as the previous yard space is now a large garage, making way for an upstairs patio out from kitchen /living room .On the level and central in Dartmouth in a gorgeous spot.
Teresa
Lovely accommodation in a great location and great to have an outdoor space to sit out in when the sunâ??s out.
Alan
We had a great week in the cottage. The location was perfect and so handy for all amenities and close to the quayside. Very well equipped
Mark
Lovely apartment, spotless and excellent location. Only down side the front bedroom can be noisy and a shower in the bedroom is a little strange.
Marlene
This is a comfy clean two storey (upside down) apartment in a perfect location on the flat in Dartmouth with the bonus of its own garage and an outdoor terrace area over the garage with glimpses of the river and for people watching on lower street towards Bayards Cove. This was perfect for Mum and I and we have booked two more stays for next year. Cannot fault.
