Hutchinghayes is a beautifully restored farmhouse complex sleeping 14 guests across six bedrooms in the Devon hills. The property comprises the Farmhouse and the Barn, sitting within a 32-acre private estate complete with lakes, bluebell woods and farm animals. Original wooden features blend with traditional furniture throughout the spacious interiors.

The estate offers exceptional grounds for walking and wildlife watching. Deer, pheasants and kingfishers are regularly spotted. Beavers work on the middle lake at dawn and dusk. The property sits 3 miles from Honiton market town and 13 miles from the coast.

Accommodation includes two king-size bedrooms, two king-size family rooms with additional single beds, one double and one twin. There are four bathrooms including two with roll-top baths. The property features two fully-equipped kitchens with Agas, a drawing room with pool table, library and multiple reception rooms. Up to three dogs are welcome.

A warm welcome from Liz was wonderful and gave us a good introduction to her beautiful home. We were living in the house and the barn and they provided an excellent comfortable base for a multi-generational family holiday.. The rooms are beautifully furnished and very well equipped in a most thoughtful way.. The wonderful Aga is perfect in the large kitchen. The property feels very secluded but has easy access to many interesting places and the coast. We always looked forward to coming home after any day excursion and the grounds are exceptional;. enjoyed by us all and our dogs who could roam freely. The lakes are a real feature, well landscaped with the exciting boat house and we found them quite safe. We would recommend this property without hesitation.
