This is excellent base territory. South Devon's coastline, Dartmoor's open moorland and the South Hams are all within easy reach. Walking, cycling and horse riding are all on the doorstep. Ashburton itself is a South Devon stannery town known for its antique shops and international cookery school.

The kitchen has an oven, hob, fridge-freezer, microwave and dishwasher. The bathroom is a wet room-style shower room. Increased accessibility features are in place throughout.
Paignton Zoo is around 14 miles away (25 mins). The South Devon Steam Railway at Buckfastleigh is under 5 miles (10 mins). Kent's Cavern in Torquay is roughly 16 miles (30 mins). Dartmouth is about 22 miles (40 mins).
