The views over the fields are fantastic and the bird table just outside is delightful to watch the comings and goings of the local wildlife. The hosts are extremely welcoming and provide all the information you could need. They left us fresh scones and dog treats which was a lovely personal touch.

Meadowside Barn is a very well equipped and beautiful barn conversion. We were welcomed by the owners Jane and Keith who provided us with all the info we needed plus delicious home-made scones! There was a lovely garden for our Border collie to run around and the owners had thoughtfully filled the bird feeders for us to enjoy the local wildlife. The barn is situated midway between Exmoor and the beaches and there are local pubs for food and drink. We thoroughly enjoyed our three day stay and would love to return another time. Thoroughly recommend.

Lovely cottage, but the garden was sensational best stocked garden of all the holiday cottages we have stayed at, which is 40 plus over time. The owners have a bird feeder which attracted the local wild life of squirrels, pheasants, woodpecker even a deer arrived one morning. Peaceful location but still fine to access all the popular visiting places in North Devon and North East Cornwall

WiFi was very weak unfortunate and not mentioned in the advert which was a shame so this wasnâ??t the best, particularly for our teenage sons, however we all enjoyed playing lots of board games together and the log fire was great. Spent a very wet and windy Christmas in the cottage, but we were very comfortable. Had everything we needed. Dogs particularly kept amused by all the birds and squirrells who visited the garden. We didn't get out walking very much but it is a lovely location.
