This cottage is set in lovely grounds. So peaceful and just what we needed. It was lovely so see so many different species of bird all feeding together. The cottage was very comfortable and had everything we needed.
Martin
Cottage ideal for anyone wanting a quiet retreat but not if a nervous driver as lanes leading to it are only a cars width with high hedges, blind bends and few passing points.
Martin
Absolutely superb barn with lots of mod cons, a perfect escape from the madding crowd.
Katie
We stayed for a week, 2 adults, 2 children and a dog, the cottage was so comfortable and the location was idyllic. Possibly one of the finest UK stays we have had

Great place, would be perfect for us and an annual stay if the garden was secure for our dog.
Ade
Lovely cottage, nice welcome from the owners when we arrived along with welcome goodies. Well equipped kitchen and utensils required were supplied. Comfortable seating and beds. Lovely big garden surrounded by singing birds.
Jenny
The property is wonderful if you are looking for a break from everything. The views over the fields are fantastic and the bird table just outside is delightful to watch the comings and goings of the local wildlife. The hosts are extremely welcoming and provide all the information you could need. They left us fresh scones and dog treats which was a lovely personal touch.
R
Meadowside Barn is a very well equipped and beautiful barn conversion. We were welcomed by the owners Jane and Keith who provided us with all the info we needed plus delicious home-made scones! There was a lovely garden for our Border collie to run around and the owners had thoughtfully filled the bird feeders for us to enjoy the local wildlife. The barn is situated midway between Exmoor and the beaches and there are local pubs for food and drink. We thoroughly enjoyed our three day stay and would love to return another time. Thoroughly recommend.
Sara

Meadowside Barn is set in beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Ideal for our three Mini Schnauzers. The accommodation is comfortable and of a high standard. Really appreciated the break and will look to book again.
Michel
Beautiful good equipped barn for staying in Devon, and visiting exmoor and coastal region. Very welcoming owners with tea and scones! Great garden with flowering plants and views on surrounding landscape, visiting birds and squirrels. Our dog loved to be exploring the garden and to make walks just starting at the bottom of the garden.
Carl
Lovely cottage, but the garden was sensational best stocked garden of all the holiday cottages we have stayed at, which is 40 plus over time. The owners have a bird feeder which attracted the local wild life of squirrels, pheasants, woodpecker even a deer arrived one morning. Peaceful location but still fine to access all the popular visiting places in North Devon and North East Cornwall
Alison
Fabulous location and accommodation. If you are looking for a peaceful and tranquil time to enjoy the wonderful wildlife and countryside, this is your place to be.
Emma
Lovely cosy cottage surrounded by greenery and lots of wildlife. Loved the daily birds and pheasant! Peaceful and pretty gardens. WiFi was very weak unfortunate and not mentioned in the advert which was a shame so this wasnâ??t the best, particularly for our teenage sons, however we all enjoyed playing lots of board games together and the log fire was great. Many thanks for a cosy holiday.
Andrew
We had a lovely relaxing stay with our elderly Labrador. Very comfortable, everything we needed. Beautiful location. Will definitely return.
Alexander
10/10 everything was there, a very full kitchen with everything you'd need. loved feeding the birds and squirls in the morning while eating the scones. best holiday home I've been to in a great location
Garry
Lovely barn conversion clean comfortable and a wonderful location. Great to see so many different birds come to feed at the table
Paulette
Spent a very wet and windy Christmas in the cottage, but we were very comfortable. Had everything we needed. Dogs particularly kept amused by all the birds and squirrells who visited the garden. We didn't get out walking very much but it is a lovely location.
