The Haven Reviews

Liz
An excellent, clean and cosy cottage in an idyllic village close to the sea. Easy to get around by car or by using the bus that stops just up the road from the cottage - very good for accessing all the lovely local coastal towns. The South West Coast Path is an easy 10 minute walk away too.
Sean
A very nice cottage with everything you need for your stay, highly recommend
Sheila
Really enjoyed our stay. The cottage was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Location was great. The sea within walking distance through beautiful countryside. Excellent.
Kevin

Stephen
A great little cottage in a perfect location close to the beach, village pub which offers a great Sunday roast ! Everything is in the cottage to make your life easy whilst you are there for the stay, enjoy... we have twice so far!
Matthew
Beautiful cottage in a great location. Very good value for money. Surprisingly spacious inside. Had all the amenities we needed. Definitely want to go back some day.
Lisa
A lovely cottage, sympathetically renovated in a beautiful setting. Has everything you need for a comfortable stay and is kept so clean. A lovely 10 min walk to the beach through lovely scenery. The village is so pretty and full of history. Just a perfect stay for us and our dogs.
Gaz
Overall the cottage was suitable for our needs which included accommodating a dog. Perfect location for a daily walk to the beach which is approximately half a mile. Also convenient for a walk across the road to the Masons Arms which is a cosy pub serving good food and a decent selection of real ales from St Austell and Branscombe breweries.
Susan
We thoroughly enjoyed the location, cleanliness and well equipped kitchen at The Haven. We would certainly return!
Kirsty
Beautiful cottage alot of attention to design and detail. Everything in very good condition and some stuff I think new. Lots of crockery and dishes. Location was just what we were after and we were aware of the parking situation which was fine for us, but I can see for some would be tricky
Stephen
Great place to stay with a great pub, walks to the old bakery and the beach which are all dog friendly. Property is well equipped and you won't have to bring your own stuff as its all there plus cleaning fluids for the bathroom which normally isn't catered for. Shame the bathroom doesn't have a blind for privacy as the cottage next door looks right in but we have feed that back to the owners so it should be rectified.
Mark
The property was very well appointed. There is a pub across the road which does good food which is great, the beach at Branscombe is a beautiful spot with no tide so great for swimming or paddle boarding , and the beach cafe (The Sea Shanty) is fantastic, great food and service and a view to die for and just a 12 minute stroll away on a very safe public foot path.
Gaz
We really enjoyed our stay at The Haven. Excellent location and a comfortable place to stay. We would certainly be happy to stay there again and plan to book a week later this year.
Sarah
Amazing location and has everything you need. Only things to be aware of - low ceilings upstairs if tall. Bunk beds only for children size.
Nicola
Very enjoyable stay in this cosy, well positioned cottage. Everything we needed was on hand. Parking is an issue but we found a spot a few minutes walk away.
Hayley
Beautiful cottage in a stunning village. Very well equipped kitchen and comfy beds.
