West View Cottage Reviews

Ian
We have stayed at this cottage 4 times consecutively and we have already booked again for next year. We find it comfortable and well equipped especially since the kitchen was refurbished. Itâ??s in a fantastic location and the patio area at the front is ideal. The parking is also a big bonus.
George
A beautifully presented and exceptionally well equipped property.

This was our fourth year renting this place and it improves every year. Itâ??s a marvellous cottage in a super little village which is handy as a touring centre for Devon. The company through which we rented the property is excellent and their staff very helpful and nice people too; they are available in person on the Main Street just down the way, so help and advice is handy. The cottage itself is superbly equipped and the house feels very comfortable too. The kitchen is simply excellent and a pleasure to use. We had a wonderful week as we always do, largely down to the quality of the cottage and the people who look after it.
Kay
Beautiful cottage. Such a lovely place to stay. The owners have obviously put a lot of effort in and thought of everything. Kitchen was well equipped, everything you would need. Definitely the best cottage we have ever stayed in. The only down side was the parking. Having a driveway was brilliant but with others parking on the road opposite it was sometimes a challenge to get on the driveway. We have a large car, I think small cars would have no issue.
Constance Anne
Our cottage was lovely and clean , well equipped and in a brilliant location .
William
I completely recommend this property, it was well equipped even with the little things such as salt and pepper small herbs and the odd tea bag and sugar. The outside space was nice to sit out while the weather was good.
Emily-Jane
Lovely, well equipped cottage in a great location. The Easter welcome pack was an added bonus!
Jonathan
A great location with good views over Beer. The off road parking was a bonus. The property was clean and well equipped. A great place to stay.
Helen
Beer is an absolute gem and Westview Cottage was extremely comfortable. For us it was a great location. It is on a steep hill which may not be right for everyone though. The cottage is very well equipped - we regularly rent in various locations around the UK, and this was *way* better than most. We usually want to try somewhere new each time, but we will be going back to Westview Cottage very soon!
David
Very clean, well equiped and thoughful decor. The location is very convenient for Beer seafront and is only a short walk to the shops, restaurants and pubs. Being able to park on the front was also brilliant.
Alison
We have been visiting Beer every year since 1989. We have stayed in lots of different cottages in that time, and this is by far the best cottage we have stayed in. It was very clean, very well equipped, comfortable, great size property and fantastic views across the village. We would definitely stay here again.
Janet
Beautiful Arts and Crafts cottage very sympathetically restored. Lots of original features . Two lovely shower rooms and new kitchen and utility. Lovely views from the patio over the village. Very clean and well equipped. Parking a bonus although quite difficult. Felt honoured to have been allowed to stay here. Best cottage we've stayed in in Beer and our family has been coming to Beer for 80 years so we've stayed in most of them!
Ian
This is a brilliant cottage. It's clean and bright and the owners take a great deal of trouble keeping it that way. This was our third visit and there have been significant improvements each time - this time it was a complete refurbishment of the utility room. That's very impressive. Probably best feature of all is the private parking on the premises - Beer's parking is a real problem, so having a personal parking space is fantastic. Equipment levels are high and cleanliness great. We will be rebooking for next year soon!
Shayne
Wonderful cottage, beautifully blending original features with modern comforts. Fully and thoughtfully equipped. Great location for just relaxing, or enjoying the beach at Beer, the coast path, independent local shops, as well as the surrounding area. Would happily stay here again.
Paul
2nd visit and improved from last visit. Will be back.
Mark
Fantastic property in Beer with the added benefit of on property parking. A lovely location with views over the Beer valley and really well equipped. Comfortable, clean, one to come back to.
Sue
