Waie Corner House Reviews

Claire
This place is amazing. Fully equipped, clean, comfortable, amazing views
BOHDAN
All good fun and the children loved it. Waie Inn Corner House was a perfect fit for our family with no stairs to worry about for the 2-year old. The Waie Inn soft play, swimming pool and restaurant were a really useful backup. We used the car for potters experience at Tarka Pottery, archery at Rock and Rapid, hour with the bees at Quince Honey Farm, horse riding at Cholwell Riding Stables, day at Exmoor Zoo, family stuff at RHS Rosemoor, day at Crooklets Beach and Bude Sea Pool.
Anita
Wonderful cottage and location very friendly helpful staff
Elizabeth
Pleasant stay with lots of facilities if you book in advance. The facilities are shared with other residents (several cottages and B&B) and locals. There is still plenty of availability but possibly timing better if booked further in advance. Slightly disappointed was charged tourist rate for drinks once until challenged. Garden not fully enclosed or secure so ensure tether or good recall if youââ?¬â?¢re taking your furry friend. Would return but learn from experience .
Maureen
Lovely accommodation. Beautiful view.

My wife is disabled and we have a dog that canââ?¬â?¢t go in a kennel. This accommodation allows for both. The picture perfect countryside and the peace and quiet itââ?¬â?¢s beautiful..I would recommend this place to anyone. Also has lots of play areas for the kids. Bar food is great although the home made pie etc is no longer available.. a great place to use as a base for going out for days or just resting up and relaxing.
Angela
The cottage was fantastic with views which were stunning. The cottage was warm and well equipped. Staff in pub and restaurant were friendly and food great lots of choices and a number of specials daily. Definitely be going again

We took the wheelchair friendly, charming, newly built, cottage: excellent accessibility, fabulous views, sunny terrace (wheelchair friendly) and bbq, extremely well furnished in a practical way, very comfortable and clean. Adored being so near the very friendly pub which serves great food, coffee etc all through the day. In the midst of Devon. What a surprise! Shall be returning and bringing friends and family- itââ?¬â?¢s that sort of place. Also lovely on oneââ?¬â?¢s own. Not great for wheelchair walks
Janet
Excellent cottage for a very enjoyable stay. Play area, outside play area and pool made keeping kids entertained a piece of cake. Food at Waie Inn brilliant and nothing was too much trouble
Holly
Lovely accommodation with beautiful views. On arrival the accommodation was spotless and felt so clean. It was a nice surprise the double doors had been changed so you could see the beautiful views through the window. The accommodation had everything we needed and the kitchen was fully equipped. The soft play and outdoor play area was a big hit with the children and so weââ?¬â?¢re the goats. The swimming pool was lovely and warm and the children had lots of fun in there. The food was really nice too.
Pauline

We treated my elderly parents to a weekend at the Waie Inn and although we only live in Exeter it was perfect. The corner house was very well equipped, warm and inviting and very clean. The food in the restaurant was awesome and so were the staff who are a real credit to the business, thanks guys. We loved the sports hall and the swimming pool which was brilliant and at the time we were there, we actually had it all to ourselves it was brilliant. The food was incredibly well priced and tasty.
Jennifer
The waie Inn cottages are all lovely. All well equipped and comfortable. I've been going for 10 years and stayed in all of them. The bunglaow is bright and airy, rooms are a great size and both bathrooms lovely. Beautiful walks around the place, then back to the pub for a lovely hot meal and pint of devon red. All the staff are so friendly..if you have children you'll never be short of.something to do here, even if the weather is bad.swimming, soft play, outdoor play area, highly recommended
Sue
Really comfortable 3 bedroom one story house. Had everything we needed and when we needed anything else it was brought to us immediately . Friendly and helpful staff
Hellen
This is the second of what we expect to be many stays at Waie Inn and we cannot recommend it highly enough for a mid-winter stay. There is so much to do right at the Inn and the staff are so friendly and helpful. The cottage itself was brilliant, with all the facilities we needed.
Ann
A truly fantastic cottage. Clean, comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed. Not one thing can I say apart from perfect. The staff were the best. Always smiling, always willing to be helpful and really seemed to love their job. A refreshing change for sure. Thank you so much for the WAIE we were treated.
