Old Manor Cottage Reviews

Hannah
Wonderful cottage with lovely hosts. A warm welcome and a really blessed stay. Highly recommend. Great location, close to nature and yet easy access to the link road. Supermarket only 5 minutes away. All mod cons available including a Netflix account on the telly!
Anthony
Ours was a small saloon car, so managed narrow driveway between houses ok - perhaps make sure those with larger cars e.g.. 4Ã?â??4s may have closer shave?
Dawn
My family and I had a lovely stay here - it has everything needed for a great family holiday in north Devon. The living space is comfortable and it has a nice garden. The owners are friendly and helpful and the cream tea on arrival was very much appreciated after our long journey. Lots of lovely apple trees with tasty apples surround the house and it's wonderfully quiet here. And yet it's very close to a main road and not far from a supermarket. The Tarka Trail is right on the doorstep as well!
Cheryl
Cottage located behind owners home, with its own ample garden. Good parking. Very peaceful setting, but close to Barnstaple. Well furnished with everything you need. Owners friendly. We had lovely weather so were able to have the patio doors open much of the time onto the garden. Local pub very good for food, and is only 10 min walk away. Tarka trail opposite the property.
Owen

Dennis

Christina
Lovely cottage in a very quiet location, but handy enough to access local roads. Well equipped with a lovely garden to sit in. Kitchen was perfect to cook in too!! Hosts very welcoming and did not intrude at all ðŸâ??
William
A wonderful little cottage situated in a village within a few miles of Barnstaple. A very friendly welcome awaited us together with a beautifully laid out table with cream tea. Much appreciated after a wet and slow journey. Despite the accommodation being to the rear of the hostââ?¬â?¢s cottage it is very private with a lovely garden and plenty of parking space. Very comfortable and equipped with everything needed for a relaxing stay.
Roy
A secluded cottage in an extremely quiet area. Ideal for a quiet break. A cream tea on arrival after a drive down was appreciated. A local pub, the Castle Inn is a half mile walk with good wine/beer and a lovely Sunday roast (suggest you book). A nice walk from the bottom of the driveway across the road and through the woods for a circular 1.5 mile walk. Close to Barnstaple shops, use the Cattle Market car park as it is convenient to the shops. Suggest a visit to Marwood Hill Gardens.
Kathryn
A beautiful idyllic hideaway, we loved the cottage and the peaceful location. There was easy access down a back-road to Barnstaple by car but also a lovely circular walk with great views passing by the end of the driveway.
Thomas
Old Manor Cottage is a most comfortable, quiet and cosy place. We have spent three wonderful weeks of walking the area (for some walks we didn't even need a car), seeing places, swimming and beach life and just relaxing in the beautiful garden. Our hosts made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived and provided us with tips for day trips and help where needed.
Simon
A cosy little cottage in A beautiful countryside setting, the owners are very welcoming & the homemade scones upon arrival are amazing, will definitely stay again if available.
