The Orangery Lynton Cottage Reviews

Lynne
We love the the Lynton cottages ! We come back every year.
Sharon
Excellent location and amazing views. The main living area was lovely and the kitchen very well equipped. Bed was comfortable. However the main bathroom smelled very musty and the ceiling above the shower was mouldy so we only used the en-suite bathroom.
Jayne
As Iv already said the apartment was tired and needs updating and the soft furnishings need burning! Itâ??s a shame because the location is simply stunning
Heather
The cottage was really nice: the beds were very comfortable; the roomâ??s spacious; the kitchen well equipped and the property scenic, The entrance and particularly the exit is on a steep gradient which can be challenging. The Valley of the Rocks is close enough to walk to from the property and is well worth a visit.
Rob
A spectacular location with fantastic views. Everything we needed or wanted do to was within walking distance. There is plenty of space and the â??snugâ? was great. The outdoor space was very pleasant too.
Neil
Superb apartment in superb location. Well equipped. Glorious views. Comfortable and spacious. Lynton and Lynmouth are lovely
Helen
Amazing views and a very good size property.
Gwendoline
This apartment is as advertised. The views are amazing and it has all the equipment you need. A new modern kitchen, with plenty of storage lots of worktop space, and everything you need. It is on a hill and quite a steep short hill to walk up to the town. Lynton is built on a hill, a lovely place to visit with lots of independent shops and eating places. Definitely recommend a walk to The Valley of the Rocks along the coastal path if your able. This was our first time here, but will be back. Lots of places within easy reach for days out in the car. This was a nice relaxing break without rushing anywhere.
Rosy
The apartment is clean, spacious and in a great location. Best used in warmer months as the heating system is a Hive system which is held elsewhere.
Mark
Lovely apartment
Mary
Nice location but property could do with an update on furnishings and thorough clean.
Ian
Very comfortable apartment with good facilities. This is a great location, with easy walking into Lynton, a steep walk down to Lynmouth (or you can take the Cliff Railway!). We had lovely walks from the property on the Coast Path and further inland such as Lynmouth to Watersmeet and Watersmeet to Rockford.
June
Really lovely place to stay. Wonderful views and plenty of room to move about. Older people need to be aware of steps taking language in and out of accommodation. Lynton is a lovely place to look round and Lynmouth is within easy reach to visit.
Colin
No issues at all. So clean and comfortable, brilliant. Would certainly rebook.
Damion
Great location. Really well equipped, everything we could have needed and more. Hope to go back again in the future.
Susan

Adrienne

Andrea
A bright, airy and spacious apartment which is equipped with everything you need. You cannot beat the location, the views are stunning and in just a short walk you can find some lovely shops and restaurants, so no need to travel too far in the evening. A perfect holiday destination for walkers or anyone who just wants to sit back and enjoy the scenery.
Martin
Huge apartment amazing location and wonderful views from bedrooms. Nice bed and linen.Excellent kitchen area with good equipment and table/chairs and sofas. Lovely reading alcove with comfy chair. Close to town and lift to Lynmouth. Parking on site and wonderfully kept terraced grounds. We had enjoyable week as did our dog.
Carey
Such lovely views. Waking up to see the sunrise over Lynmouth Bay is wonderful. Apartment is furnished to a high standard and well equipped. Spending a day walking the hills and then relaxing in the easy chair in the window with a glass of something cold was a joy.
John
Outstanding property top quality furnishings and spotlessly clean
Paul
A lovely property that is very light and well equipped. Modern and spacious living area and the bedrooms are large with very comfy beds. The spot is perfect for the views and valley of rocks walk. Parking is never a problem but the road in and out is steep so requires care. The area itself is great with so much to do and places to visit within relatively short drives
Nicola
We had a lovely time spent in The Orangery at Lynton Cottages for a week over the Christmas holidays. There was lots of space and all the amenities we needed. The location was great for walking to the town centre, The Valley of The Rocks and also down hill in to Lynmouth.
David
We love the Orangery, this was our second stay (this time two weeks) and have just booked our third . The location has the most beautiful view of Lynmouth and we love walking around the Valley of the Rocks. What makes the Orangery stand out is it's size and comfort, the settees are very comfortable, then there is the reading chair with the view over the bay, although this does gets faught over by my wife and myself! The two full size bedrooms have a view over Lynmouth and are comfy and spacious! The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable, well located stay in Lynton.
