Ilfracombe harbour (2 miles) offers boat trips to Lundy Island. Woolacombe Bay (9 miles) is perfect for surfing. Arlington Court (8 miles) is a National Trust estate worth visiting. Valley of Rocks near Lynton is roughly 14 miles away.
Summercombe suits couples and small families wanting countryside and coast. Undercover storage for bikes and surfboards, EV charging and a dog walking field make it genuinely practical. One dog is welcome.
