Beech Barn Reviews

Sarah
We absolutely loved this holiday home. It was everything we wanted. Dog field was a massive bonus. We will definitely return next year! Owners are both lovely. They are there if you need them but not intrusive.
Jane
Fantastic cottage and great garden for the dogs.
Lewis
Lovely cottage for our cocker spaniel and his holiday friends. The fully enclosed garden with a view into the duck garden kept Ozzi amused for ages. With an exercise field just around the corner. Just perfect for a relaxing quiet get away. Will be back next year.
Christopher
We had a lovely week at Beech Barn, the dogs loved the enclosed garden and were fascinated watching the ducks waddle by the other side of the fence. Such a quiet, peaceful location, weââ?¬â?¢d highly recommend it for a relaxing getaway. The cottage was well equipped with everything we needed and were kindly left cakes, biscuits, tea, coffee, milk and doggie treats in arrival. We would definitely stay again, thank you.
Manjinder
Absolutely brilliant property, location and owners! The enclosed garden and the enclosed exercise field were brilliant for a large German Shepherd who is wary of strangers. The water from a bore hole was so natural and tasty vs. tap water. Really powerful shower. Large fridge/freezer/dishwasher/washing machine and tumble dryer/microwave. Would highly recommend! My dog was fascinated by the lovely ducks, chicken and sheep. Absolutely brilliant place - enjoyed it so much. Thank you for everything.
Warrick
A great stay in a lovely location with everything we needed !
Rebecca
Itââ?¬â?¢s like a home from home and that is why we keep coming back!
C
Amazing! Location and the cottage everything was fabulous thank you
Lewis
Our 3rd stay at this Lovely holiday cottage. Ozzi the spaniel just loves it. And we do too with its safe and secure enclosed garden and the exercise field close by. Everything you need for a relaxing stay with your dog. Will be back again next year.
Eleanor
Fantastic - so dog friendly and with everything we needed. We will be back
Becky
This is the best house my sister and I have ever stayed. We have been holidaying together for 10 years now. This house is actually dog friendly, not like others that just allow your dog there. The owners left dog towels, poo bags and snacks. The garden is the safest I have ever seen as is the dog field on the property. The kitchen has everything you could think of, and the milk in the fridge on arrival and lovely biscuits and cakes, and tea and coffee makes all the difference. Peaceful and a gem
Sue
If you have dogs, Beech Barn is ideal. There are two other properties on site, each with their own private garden as well as the added bonus of an exercise field - itââ?¬â?¢s just perfect. There are also lots of pretty nooks & crannies outside, too - small pond, big pond, gazebo, plants every where along with free roaming birds & cats. The barn has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Easy access to Holsworthy, Bideford, Appledore, Braunton ââ?¬¦ the list goes on! Book it!!
Caroline
The Cottage was lovely, the dogs enjoyed the garden. One of our bitches was pregnant so we didnââ?¬â?¢t venture far. It was a lovely restful, peaceful place.
Charlie
Clean, comfortable and quiet location. Perfect for our dogs (2 labradors) who loved the garden and the huge dog field was the best place for a run and play. Well equipped and owners were friendly and around if needed but not intrusive.
Martin
Very rural setting. Great for dogs as they can exercise in the secure garden and also a huge exercise field close by. Property had everything we needed. The only thing I'd say is it's a good 15 minute drive to any shops and the roads up to the property are bumpy rural lanes. But the location is lovely with Bude being just 25 minutes away.
Warrick
A lovely place to stay and well situated for what we wanted to do during the time we were there. Just the right size for the two of us and the dog!
