Like above the outside area is not what we expected it was overgrown. The photos of the cottages were taken a long time ago, i.e. the Phone box is just overgrown. Location is a bit too far out i.e. you have to drive everywhere.

Our stay and Summer Foley was ideal, peace and quiet yet close to the village of Abbotsham and the larger town of Bideford and the seaside of Westward Ho! so plenty for everyone including the walking especially along the nearby cliffs. The accommodation was set in a great location and had all we needed for a wonderful relaxing and comfortable stay including a Games Roo. The owner (Mrs. Winters) was an absolute delight, very friendly and helpful and we are very grateful that we were able to stay.

Lovely, quiet location to experience a get away from it all break. An excellent pub, The Thatched Inn, was 5 or 6 minute drive away. Westward Ho! Seafront 5 or 6 minute drive away also. We spent the week going for lunch, reading and chilling out. This property allowed us to do exactly this but was within easy distance of all amenities. A huge supermarket was only 10 minutes away. The cottage was exactly as advertised and Mary was there to help when needed. Please keep an eye out for George!
