Lovely cottage, small but cosy, comfortable and well laid out. Great location within easy walk of the village for pubs, restaurants and shops. Very well furnished and equipped, heating more than adequate for chillier periods, spotlessly clean. Not a problem for us but the stairs are a bit precipitous and would certainly be an issue for anyone with impaired mobility. We had a very enjoyable stay and would highly recommend

We were a little concerned about parking, but found free roadside parking quite close to the cottage without any trouble. The heating system needs upgrading to improve comfort levels in the winter months. Good selection of pubs, eating establishments locally, and Appledore is well placed for touring a little further afield generally.

The road from the nearby carpark is level and at Ã?£30 a week was ideal, The wood burning stove made the sitting room very cosy on wet autumn evenings. I loved the first floor cwtch; watching the tidal changes of the estuary, sunrises, sunsets plus the activities of sailors and birds much more enjoyable than TV. The cottage is in my list for a revisit maybe in the spring

The cottage is in a nice location, perfect for two and Appledore is a nice place to stay. There are local pubs and places to eat within very close proximity to the cottage. The cottage is clean , well equipped and was a great base for a week. The heating was appreciated particularly in the living room as it did get quite chilly even in June. Parking is a few minutes walk away and we found it good value by paying for the week and we never struggled for a space. Would recommend
