Drum Cottage Reviews

Gina
Wonderful cottage, a true home away from home with everything you could wish for.
Anne
Drum cottage was immaculate with a large kitchen and conservatory and outdoor enclosed space, This cottage has everything you want, so well equipped, warm and cosy from under floor heating and in an ideal location for exploring the area. The reserved parking space a bonus. A good welcome pack for humans and doggies. We enjoyed our stay very much, and look forward to staying here again.
Beverley
We had a lovely week at Drum Cottage. The Cottage is very comfortable and welcoming- the weather wasn't in our favour but we still had a great week. It wasn't cold enough for the log burner but I can imagine how cosy it would be in the colder months. The Cottage has a lot of mod cons and a lovely decking area to sit in the good weather. Our dog loved it here but it is on a busy road so be careful leaving and entering the cottage. Our car was parked free a few steps up the hill in a car park that was organised by the owner. We ate out a few nights but we did have a few meals at the cottage too and watched the TV that had lots of channels to choose from. The washing machine was a bonus as we got wet most days too. Appledore is a beautiful village and it's easy to go to local places like Instow and Westward Ho too. Also we enjoyed visiting Clovelly village and Bude. We would definitely recommend Drum Cottage for a lovely break.
Gary

3rd visit to appledore and 2nd stay at drum cottage. The cottage is well equipped with everything u could think of. You get a good welcome pack for humans and doggies. Both bedrooms have hairdryers. Kat the owners sister is always very helpful and welcoming. The cottage is in a good location.
Alex
We had a wonderful stay at Drum Cottage. The cottage was immaculate and the location was stunning. Our party was 2 adults, 1 x 13yo 1 x 10yo and a dog. The back garden was safe and secure for the dog and there was so much to do in the local area. The cottage was very well equipped with everything we could have needed and more. My top tip when packing to come and stay at Drum Cottage, if you think am I likely to need this, I better pack it, you probably don't need it - it is probably already in the cottage waiting for you! A wonderful stay, we will be back, I'm sure.
Jane
Cottage was exceptionally clean and well presented. The conservatory is a delight. Excellent location for amenities in Appledore.
Nicholas
A spacious cottage full of character, ideally located in a quiet village in north Devon. The stairs and low ceilings may be an issue for tall people. The allocated parking space is brilliant and located just a short walk up the hill . The welcome pack was very generous.
Dawn
Beautiful cottage Lovely welcome with flowers Perfect for dogs
Nigel
Drum Cottage was an excellent holiday home for us, spacious well equipped and lots of character. It was also comfortable, with plenty of hot water, nice bed and a modern kitchen. The log burner also added to its charm and the nearby, reserved parking space was an added bonus. Appledore was a very friendly village with a good selection of pubs, restaurants and shops. Communication with the nearby housekeeper was also excellent if ever we had any questions or help requests.
Christopher
