Cross Farm Cottage Reviews

Debra
An exceptionally well equipped and comfortable cottage. The only problem is itâ??s right next to a busy road which we were not aware of. We will be more thorough with our holiday research in future! Would recommend the cottage if you are not looking for complete peace and quiet.
Jackie
The cottage was extremely clean and comfortable. It is in an excellent location with easy access to places to eat. It is close to Braunton Burrows and the Great Field is on the doorstep.
Julia
Lovely welcoming property, fantastic lication
Iris
Great cottage, facilities were superb. The location was great and it was easy to visit different areas that were within easy reach from the cottage . Saunton beach was lovely the dogs really enjoyed swimming and rolling in the sands. . First time stay in village/town so many great shops and places to eat. Every was so friendly.
Claire
Very comfortable cottage but in a very noisy and busy area. We live in a village so it was quite a shock that Braunton is considered a village! There is constant noise from the busy road the cottage is on made even worse by the loose manhole cover that clangs every time a car goes over. Nice touch that bowls, dog blankets and treats provided for dogs. The garden is very small and was worried that our boys would jump the fence to chase the neighbours cat! Thankfully they didn't but people with larger dogs would find that the garden is unlikely to be secure for them.
Alison
Great cottage, it is spacious, clean and well equipped. Parking for 2 cars and a shed for our bikes. Good location within Braunton with easy access to shops, restaurants and the Tarka trail. Good base for access to local beaches, walking & other local attractions. Would definitely recommend
Janette

Perfect. What more can I say? Such a comfortable cosy cottage in a fantastic location.
Michael
Cross Farm cottage is ideal for Summer and Winter breaks. Ideally situated for small town amenities as well as a short distance from the coast. A parking space is a bonus. The property provides everything you need and was warm and cosy for our November break
Darren
The cottage itself was very charming, which had lots of character. The bedroom we stayed in was very comfortable, especially the bed. The property had everything we needed, and we were impressed with the reading material, board games, and videos provided by the owners of the property.
Jane
It was our 2nd visit to this property as we loved it so much last year. This year, we took my parents and they enjoyed the home from home comforts as we did. A great central spot for visits to other places, but a lovely cottage to kick back and relax in the evenings together. We really enjoyed our stay here again this year. Thankyou.
Patricia
The cottage was lovely and spacious and very comfortable. The position of the cottage was central for the different places we wished to visit.
Karen
Lovely comfortable cottage in an excellent location in the lovely village of Braunton great places to eat and drink and the heartbreak hotel right next to the cottage does great coffee and amazing homemade sweet treats. The cottage is very well equipped and the stair gates were great for keeping the dogs in the kitchen area to dry out. The beds are really comfortable for a good night sleep after a busy day. And lovely reclining sofas to relax in the evening. Great holiday and will definitely re visit.
Jackie
This is a very comfortable and well equipped cottage. The location is perfect for access to shops and restaurants in Braunton and is also walking distance to Braunton Great Field. A five minute drive to Braunton Burrows.
S
This is the 4th property we've rented in Braunton, and its significantly better that the others. The location is perfect, its very close to the Tarka trail, and the right side of town, so we didn't need to cross busy roads with our dog to reach it. The house was spotlessly clean and very well equipped, the sofa and beds are one of the comfiest I've ever sat/slept on/in. Our search is over, we will be staying here again next year!
Isobel
Fantastic cottage, great location, beautifully equipped, good parking and enclosed location, comfy sofa and beds which is a huge bonus for a comfortable stay!
Ian
Cross Farm cottage is a really nice place to stay, well appointed and comfortable. Beat in mind itâ??s location to the main road to & from Croyde is a trade off to be in the heart of the village.
Stevie
Awesome holiday. Great location and facilities. Itâ??s always a pleasure to stay at cross fam.
Robert
Cottage clean and comfortable. Great location. We have now been back 4 times because it is so nice.
Gary
Great overall location and access to many amenities. The owners went the extra mile to make our stay comfortable!
Micheala
Lovely comfortable and warm cottage. Fully equipped with everything you need for your holiday. Enclosed garden which is great for dogs. Driveway parking in front of cottage entrance. Central location for shops , pubs and vets. Saunton sands a couple of miles away with Woolacombe beach about 15 min drive. The Tarka trail a couple of mins walk away. Would thoroughly recommend.
Jane
Such a comfortable cottage which was extremely well equipped. We all agreed that the beds were lovely and perfect for a good night's sleep after a busy day. The location couldn't be better. We will be back!
