Aberlyn Reviews

Julie
lovely apartment, great location.
Trish
Lovely apartment in a wonderful location. Well equipped, spacious and comfortable. The views from the balcony were spectacular.
Theresa
Great views but parking very challenging - we had a 4 door Corsa and it was difficult to access accommodation and park over 7 days. Not road lay-by parking - parking is etched into the hillside and not off a highway making it very challenging. Wine cooler doesnâ??t work - cooker and property overall needs updating. Disappointing as the location is good.
Richard
Good apartment in a great location in a wonderful village. Personally we found the beds a bit too firm and the pillows too soft. Otherwise all good.
Marie
The apartment is lovely and spacious. The area is quiet, with only the sound of the river below being heard at night. The beds and sofas are all very comfortable. All the amenities are a short walk from the apartment, it should be noted that this is down steep, gravely steps, so may not be good for people with mobility issues though most people will be fine. The parking is tight, and the turning area to do a 3 or 4 point turn to get back out is along a narrow road with lots of overhanging plans that were setting the car sensors off continually. This may not suit inexperienced or nervous drivers. As mentioned in other reviews, there are a lot of spiders and bugs in the property due to the location. They don't bother you, but if you don't like spiders, this may not be the place for you. We had a fantastic week exploring Lynton and Lynmouth as well as the surrounding area. We would definitely recommend this property.
Anthony
The location was great, views were super and the apartment was comfortable, clean and tidy with great facilities. We would recommend the apartment without hesitation. Mike was very attentive and helpful.
Derek
Parking and access could be difficult to some drivers but to obtain the lovely view from the balcony is worth the challenge. Overall the holiday will be a happymemory
Stephen
The apartment had a cooker with an induction hob, which wasn't mentioned in the details and my wife has a pacemaker fitted which meant that she couldn't use the hob at all during our stay which we were not happy about as the cooker is a major part of a self catering holiday. This would also apply to any person booking the apartment who is pregnant. Also the settings on the oven control knob have worn off so we couldn't set the oven temperature correctly. Your feedback to me on this would be appreciated.
Drew
Fantastic flat and wonderful view. Very cozy and warm with a log fire during our stay in February.
