Wonham Waters Reviews

Paul
Outstanding location. Secluded and peaceful, with shops and local pub a couple of minutes away. A great stay and a great find.
Kevin
Great place to stay for peace and quiet only noise is from the wildlife great location down a track set in the woods go for walks from the lodge and nice places nearby only minor problem the shower knob was missing so unable to control the temperature the water was very hot also the lock on the bathroom door was broken and the pond lights didnââ?¬â?¢t work but we will definitely be back soon as we didnââ?¬â?¢t want to leave
James
Great natural location, kids loved it. Owners good people. Would recommend.
Ruth
If you are looking for a secluded spot where you do not want to be overlooked this is the place for you. Wonham Waters is set in the woods and you feel completely relaxed and away from it all. There is a bit of occasional road noise, which can be heard from the garden but this does not detract from what is a special location set in woodland. We saw dragonflies, bats and Peregrine falcons carrying prey. We had a wonderful few days and returned home looking relaxed years younger!
Leslie
This is the most lovely , quiet location anyone can wish for with only the birds , squirrels and deer for company . The owner is the most helpful man you could wish to meet . We used a local pub for our wedding anniversary meal that he recommended and it was very good and only five minutes away . We will be going back when our life finally slows down at the end of this year . Highly recommended xxxxx
Michelle

This was our second time staying here. It was lovely to step away from the busy world and rest in the cosy cabin. Surrounded by woodland to explore, and wildlife to watch we didn't need to go out. Both the kids, dog and adults were happy.
