Lime Kiln Cottage Reviews

Gillian
The cottage is set in a beautiful, quiet location. It had all the equipment we required. The furniture was unfussy, simple and adequate. We had a lovely, restful and relaxing week despite the weather.
Ian
A lovely place to spend a week just relaxing and winding down from the 9-5. Very comfortable - beautiful position in the owner's farm (we spent happy evenings just watching the new intake of Spring lambs running up and down) and nice woodland walk for our dogs. Very much enjoyed our visit.
Robert
OK so a peaceful location however 24 acres of land to explore, woodland walks was limited due to fallen trees etc plus with expectant sheep in the fields this was also out of bounds. There is a new bark park along the road which we paid to use to exercise our two dogs. property is tired and needs some TLC. Patio furniture to rear could be replaced.
Peter
Lovely setting with great access for places to visit, would highly recommend. Communication from owners spot on, especially instructions of how to find them.
Nigel
Everything you needed was to hand, well furnished.
Claire
My partner and I enjoyed a lovely cosy and relaxing stay at this cottage. We loved how tranquil and peaceful it was which helped us to unwind from our busy lives in London. The cottage had everything we needed and was a great base to go exploring the lovely Devonshire countryside. Would highly recommend.
Katrina
Lovely for a winter break really warm and cosy. Very spacious living area with a comfortable and relaxing bedroom . Managed to sit outside on the sunny patio area even though it is January . A safe place to stay with a dog plenty of places to walk and an enclosed garden . Really enjoyed our stay would highly recommend.
Frances

The cottage is warm and comfortable and equipped with everything we needed, a large very comfortable bed and a very spacious shower. There are paths to walk with your dog(s) and, if wanted, a large dog walking paddock ââ?¬Å?Bampton Bark Parkââ?¬Â just 3 minutes up the road.

We found the cottage to be delightful and the birdsong every morning was wonderful and the lawn big enough for our corgis. Also the walks nearby.

Excellent eco features and peaceful location. Access to property from road rather steep so not really suitable for anyone with reduced mobility paths through woods on site also quite a climb.
