Riverside Retreat is a three-bedroom cottage sitting right on the banks of the River Torridge in Weare Giffard, Devon. Spectacular river views change with the tide from every room and you get direct water access from the private garden for launching kayaks and canoes.

The area offers immediate access to the Tarka Trail for traffic-free cycling and countryside walks. Bideford sits 10 minutes away by car. Torrington is also 10 minutes away. Barnstaple and the historic fishing village of Appledore are both 20 minutes away.

The ground floor features an open-plan kitchen with double oven and breakfast bar, dining room and lounge with inglenook fireplace and log burner. A separate TV/Games Room has a 55-inch flatscreen, Xbox and Sonos sound system. Upstairs are three bedrooms: one king-size with private balcony and en-suite shower room, one super-king with en-suite bath and one twin room with en-suite shower.

RHS Rosemoor sits nearby. Westward Ho!, Croyde Bay and Woolacombe provide surf spots within easy reach. The property welcomes one dog and offers private parking for several cars.
