Waterside Cottage Westleigh Reviews

Mark
The cottage was tired and uncared for.We arrived to someone else's bag of rubbish outside the door.the cream carpet was stained and the dishes were chipped! Not what we expected!
Stuart
Tired property with basic elements not functioning. Needs a serious update. Great location though.
David
Beautiful little cottage nicely located. Wonderful pub just around the corner, great food and beer, the staff and the locals are the most friendly people you could meet. Westleigh is a beautiful village.
Jennie
The cottage was very cosy, in a lovely little village. The local pub is less than a minute away, the food was great and the staff are very friendly. The cottage was well equipped, we cooked our christmas dinner there. Beds were very comfortable.
Jacqueline
Nice little cottage in lovely village with good pub just behind. Access to cottage down a very tight lane but good parking at the end.
A
Great cottage in a great location. Driveway/lane and parking quite tight. Anything larger than a Toyota corolla estate would struggle to fit.
Kim
A lovely little cottage in a convenient location with a great pub immediately behind serving delicious food and well kept ale as well as a range of other drinks and with a play area and space to play football for children. The cottage does have low ceilings and door frames (6ft) but is comfortable and equipped with everything needed for a self catering holiday. It's only a few minutes to Bideford and an easy drive to any number of attractions and towns. The property management company were also very helpful providing information ahead of arrival.
Andy
Neighbours and local pub all made us feel welcome, food at the pub was amazing, one neighbour wanted us to buy the cottage and stay
Stephen
We loved the cottage. It was well equipped and comfortable. The location was very secluded and the view outside was beautiful. The Westleigh Inn pub was just around the corner, provided good meals and had a good rating (4.7).
Kirsty
A lovely cottage with well appointed and clean bedrooms looking over the countryside. The pub was fantastically near so even though there was no garden for the cottage, when the weather was good we sat outside in the pub garden (which literally backs on to the cottage). Great location with easy access to beaches and town. Very peaceful and relaxing.
David
Beautiful cottage in a lovely location, perfect for a small family. Comfortable and cosy. Lovely friendly people in the village, The pub is 1 minute round the corner, very friendly atmosphere, with great food an friendly staff. We will be booking for next year. Loved it.
