Branscombe sits on the Jurassic Coast. You can walk the South West Coast Path from the village or head to Branscombe Beach, a long pebble sweep lined with beach huts. Beer is less than 3 miles east with its own shingle beach and working fishing boats.
Inside you get an L-shaped lounge, diner and kitchen with an inglenook fireplace and wood burner, a sunny window seat and dual aspect windows, plus painted beams throughout. The Shaker-style kitchen has an induction hob, electric oven, dishwasher and washer-dryer. Upstairs is a king-size bedroom and a walk-in shower room. Outside, an enclosed garden has a table, chairs, parasol and sun lounger.
Honiton is 9 miles north the antique capital of the South West. Beer village (2.5 miles, 7 mins), Seaton Jurassic (4 miles, 10 mins), Branscombe Beach (0.5 miles, 2 mins walk) and Sidmouth (8 miles, 18 mins).
Otters Corner suits couples wanting a genuine Devon escape. Stone walls, beams, a wood burner and an enclosed garden make this a seriously good base for the Jurassic Coast, just half a mile from Branscombe Beach.
