Otters Corner Reviews

Ian
A very pretty area with some interesting roads. Lots of scenic towns and wildlife areas to explore.
Cyril
Branscombe is a beautiful location and I will definitely stay here again, either in this cottage or something bigger if we bring friends.
Jean
beautifully renovated and equipped cottage
Diane
Lovely cottage, very comfortable, well equiped, well situated. Low ceilings and door frame upstairs, caution needed for a tall person. Very narrow roads to the village, we found particularly stressful. Wonderful full English breakfast at the Sea Shanty at Branscombe beach. Very peaceful place to sit and chill.
Roger
Hidden Gem! if you are looking for a great location, clean and very comfortable cottage that makes you want to look forward to returning to after your great day out then look no more...we will certainly recommend Otters Cottage!
Rupert
A cosy and secluded cottage set in wonderful countryside
Robert
Great little cottage in beautifull suroundings, good for nice walks from the house.
Rachel
Lovely little cottage with everything you need. We slept well and were very comfy. Branscombe was a great location.
Simon
Excellent. Well fitted out and decorated to a high standard
Francis
It is in georgous little village winding down the valley and eventually to the beach where a great breakfast can be had. Village has two pubs and lots of places to walk in the stunning countryside.
Elaine
We loved the cottage albeit it rather cramped. There was nowhere to put our provisions we had brought with us, therefore, it took up all the working surfaces. It would have been helpful to have had replacement bin liners if you are staying more than a week, and especially as the bins are collected on a Tuesday. (Such a complicated recycling system there and not easily followed). The neighbours were very good and helpful in that respect.
Sandy
Lovely cosy cottage in beautiful location, this was our 4th visit and I'm sure there will be a 5th.
Andrew
Nice cottage in a good location right next to pub serving good basic food.
Stacey
The cottage was lovely and very well equipped with everything you could need. The local pub, although very rustic seved excellent food. The only downside was the narrow, winding roads leading in and out of the village- not for the faint hearted driver or those with a big or expensive car !
Angela
Stunning location, feel cut off from the world! Wonderful walk to sea, super meals at local pubs and lunch at The Old Bakery. Cosy cottage, great well equipped base with courtyard garden just over lane. Super holiday for two with dog!
Todd
A very well appointed cottage with a comfortable bed, cosy and compact. Of note this is a very beautiful but isolated location. If this is what youâ??re looking for, it is ideal, but prepare for many, many miles of single track lanes. It has birdlife, footpaths and history on your doorstep. Recommended for nature lovers.
John
Otter's corner is a lovely place to stay, l've known about this place for years and at last stayed there.
Peter
Cottage is very well presented and equipped. Written instructions were clear.
Susan
We have stayed at "Otters Corner" many times over the years.
Wendy
Lovely little cottage. Disappointed no board games there. Thinking about it I would of opted for a larger cottage as the living room was very small with a big dog. And the kitchen was small. Only room for one. Nice neighbours. Lovely walks. Sea shanty cafe most exellect food. And lovely friendly owners. Weather was windy and warm. Embracing. We did enjoy our stay. Left feeling very relaxed.
