Summerville Reviews

Andrew
A welcoming, comfortable and warm cottage located on a quiet road but close to the town, it has a well appointed kitchen with a dining table that will sit 6 comfortably. the living room is spacious and light and there is a pretty courtyard garden with 2 café style tables at the front. Parking is easy enough once you get the hang of the permit system, a digital permit would have been better than having to write a permit voucher each day before noon.

Itâ??s a beautiful Cottage in a fantastic place, I couldnâ??t believe how clean and tidy it was as soon as we walked in and I can remember thinking how I wouldnâ??t be able to get it this way when we leave.
Susie
Lovely cosy cottage with everything you would need. Heating on from 6.30am then on again when you get back from trip out.Close to the restaurants, bars & walks.
Andrew
Perfect location , in a well equipped cottage, always comfortable and safe, we love it
Vivien
We stay every year and it is always immaculate . Lovely house, favourite location.
Susan
A beautiful and comfortable cottage that feels homely. The cottage was clean throughout and smelt fresh upon arrival. Great location, having a parking permit made parking much easier in such a busy village. Would highly recommend this cottage, second time we have stayed and would certainly return.
Sarah
Summerville is a home from home in the most gorgeous location right at the side of the river. It's spacious, really well equipped and beautifully decorated. We literally wanted for nothing. It's close enough to walk into Lynmouth and Lynton, and also the start of some beautiful walks. We were very lucky with the weather, but even if it had been awful, we had a lovely base to come back to.
Kate
A wonderful week in a beautiful place! Our second visit to Summerville and Iâ??m sure it wonâ??t be our last.
RIchard
Well equipped cottage in a great location. Parking outside was OK when we needed it but isn't reserved so would recommend buying a 7 day permit from the council in High season which allows parking just across the bridge and in lots of other car parks.
Andrew
super location with stunning views of the river and just a short walk from the beach and village , very peaceful and relaxing
Andrew
First class accommodation in a very quiet street but well within walking distance of 2 decent pubs and several cafes. The cottage easily sleeps a family of 6, we didn't bring our dog, but the cottage is suitable for pets. All the beds were very comfortable and the bathroom and WC's were all in good order. the small cottage garden at the front is a
Kate
Amazing location and beautiful house.
Vivien
Lovely cottage, our third time. Delicious welcome cake, and Lynmouth always gorgeous despite the weather.
Susan
Had a lovely stay at Summerville, thank you for the lovely cake and milk very much appreciated after a long journey. The property was lovely and quiet, very clean and spacious. The only negative we found was the overgrown trees in the front garden that made inside dark, and made it unable to have the evening sitting out. This has been raised to the housekeeper who has said she will speak with the owners. We would return to Summerville in future with no hesitation.
Rebecca
This is a comfortable cottage in a lovely location, but the garden needs to be sorted out to let in some much needed light.
Kevin
Excellent Cottage, superb location and lovely touch to find essential items and a lovely lemon cake to start our holiday.
Andrew
Lovely cottage in a fantastic location
Jaimi
The cottage is lovely and a great position but the poor quality mattress meant we didnâ??t get a good nightâ??s sleep once.
