Newcroft Reviews

Yvonne

Kristine
A very comfortable bungalow. The enclosed garden was ideal for my dog. The proximity to the village store and an excellent pub further enhances this comfortable venue.

Cheryl
My husband and I book Newcroft in Woolsery Village so as to be close to our son and family who live nearby. It was very clean and comfortable and the back garden was perfect for our small dog ( completely enclosed). Beds very comfy! Plenty of fluffy towels. Great position in the village. As this was our first time to Woolsery we were not disappointed and will definately book Newcroft again for any future visits. Many thanks!
Shawna
Great house, not a cottage. Great location, pleasant stay. Would return and would recommend to friends and family.
David
Convenient location close to shops and lovely pub and fish and chip restaurant. The Milky Way was close, but the big sheep was our preference. Whatâ??s lovely is there is a milking farm vending machine up the road that do a variety of flavoured milk and well worth a visit. If your intending on staying be sure you have your Amazon account, Netflix or YouTube account at the ready to login and use, as the tv didnâ??t work with digital signal or analogue. When I saw the video player I felt like Iâ??d gone back in time to the late 80s. It would be good if the details of what the home has is included in the description, ie iron etc, we took one as a precaution but didnâ??t need to as the property did have one.
Sheree
Very nice bungalow. Had to travel every day to take dogs for a walk. But ok
Verana
The cottage is very nice. It is clean and well maintained .It is situated close to the pub, fish and chip shop and the local shop, which is perfect. The garden is well maintained and secure for a dog. We were very happy with the cottage and would definitely stay there again.
Gaynor
Lovely cottage, well stocked and very comfortable
Courtenay
Fantastic bungalow with a well secure back garden for dogs. The bungalow is immaculate. Ideal location for Barnstaple or Bideford and is in a lovely village setting with a shop pub and a chip shop across the road. Would also recommend going to the milk vending machine just up the road what a fantastic ideal from farm to machine cannot get any fresher. Would be looking again to visit this lovely bungalow
Jill
Super little bungalow, home from home - light & airy, warm & comfortable, garden was brillant our dogs loved it and we could relax knowing it was enclosed. Property about a mintues walk to shop&post office, pub, and FishnChip shop, ideal! We very rarely return to a property but would definately return to Newcroft, a really great short break, thankyou!!
Hazel
Great location with village facilities and for accessing north Devon. Comfortable and well equipped plus several OS maps of the area. For dog owners, from the door, there is circular walk of about a mile linking 2 short footpaths between the houses, around a field with fenced off path in case livestock in field, then back long 2 tracks popping out on a road just above the school. Was muddy on the track as had been raining but would be lovely in dry weather. We found the villagers very friendly and even went to the (regular) coffee morning - cake recommended!
