Cristine
Small but beautifully laid out, well equipped and comfortable accommodation with great views over the Sid Valley. Perfect for exploring East Devon.
Tony
We stayed in this lovely holiday cottage between the 5th - 12th January 2025, having had to find accommodation to deal with a family crisis at the last minute. We couldnâ??t have found a more suitable place to stay; the owners were very friendly and helpful and it was conveniently placed for Sidmouth and lovely walks along the River Sid to the seafront. The welcome hamper was exceptional!
Gillian
Wonderfully clean, had everything you could want for a great stay. Easy instructions on the heating thermostat. Well stocked welcome pack. Plenty of towels, tea towels, oven gloves etc could not fault our stay there.
Kenneth
The cottage was spotlessly clean on arrival, plus a very welcome hamper of essential supplies; milk, bread, butter, snacks etc, plus scones with jam and clotted cream! The owners live in the adjoining cottage, and were most helpful and friendly. Everything we could need for our stay was provided and we were very happy in the lovely situation, with extensive views over the hills and fields to the North from our comfortable lounge.
Barry
Fantastic well equipped cottage in a fabulous location
Janice
Lovely accommodation couldn't fault it, very quiet and peaceful
Colin
We had a lovely two weeks at Little Hollies. Ann-Marie provided a superlative welcome pack. The place was clean and comfortable. Lots of leaflets in a basket with local information. A good base for exploring either locally or further afield. Blue Ball pub within walking distance - dog-friendly and excellent food and service. Waitrose just up the road. Other well-known supermarkets in neighbouring towns. Suggest visiting the Donkey Sanctuary - very close and a lovely place to visit.
C
Excellent cottage. A proper Tardus small outside, large inside. Owners excelled themselves. A generous supply of essentials and a superb welcome hamper.
Richard
Spotlessly clean and ver homely.
Susan
Lovely property.Ideal for a couples. This is the second time we have stayed there. We recommend. Very relaxing.
David
I cannot fault this lovely apartment which is situated next door to the owners. It is quite deep and roomy and has all the necessary mod cons. It also looks out onto a lovely green rolling landscape. The owners did everything they could to make us feel welcome when we arrived and let us know they were there for us if need be. We had a very pleasant stay, thank you so much.
Bernadette
A lovely homely property very well situated to access the Byes beautiful walk along the river Sid into Sidmouth.
Kathryn
A very well equipped and looked after property giving plenty of space for a large dog. A good base for accessing coastal resorts in this area, a local pub for food and nearby shop & supermarket.
Michael
It would be quite impossible to find a negative comment to make about Little Hollies in Sidford. EVERYTHING was excellent and we felt hugely comfortable there even if the weather was dreadful (February) for much of the time. The welcoming basket of "goodies" was outstanding and the bed was very comfortable. The view out over Sidmouth was gorgeous. So, we can only say 10/10 from the Holmes'.
