The on-site enclosed play area has a trampoline, swing basket and baby swing. The indoor games barn has table tennis, pool and table football. Kids can meet resident donkeys and a pony. The heated indoor pool is open all year. Plenty to keep children busy without leaving the site.

For Couples

Fiddlesticks is a one-bedroom cottage designed for two. The hot tub, heated pool and peaceful valley setting make it a solid choice for a couples' break. Quiet lanes, countryside views, coastal beaches 20 minutes away and a recommended 17th-century inn in nearby Combe Martin all add up nicely.

Pet Friendly

Up to two dogs are welcome at Fiddlesticks. The 18-acre site with gardens and paddocks gives dogs plenty of room to roam. Coastal walks and the South West Coast Path are within easy reach. Note that resident animals including donkeys, a pony, sheep and cows are on site.

Lovely little cottage - super cosy! Fantastic location with stunning views. The communal games room and pool/hot tub are great. There's a decent range of basic cooking utensils. While it's dog friendly, we struggled to find a secure area (far from farm animals and horses) to let our dogs off the lead, which was tricky since they prefer to toilet off the lead. Also, there was no info about any routes on the farm for walking dogs on lead, so we had to drive elsewhere for that. Not a big issue in North Devon, but something to keep in mind.
