A lovely compact little cottage that has been styled very nicely, the photos are accurate. Itâ??s only a 2 minute walk to dog friendly Newberry Beach. Garden Cottage has its own little garden which is securely enclosed with wooden fencing and wire netting all round. (Although a very small dog may get under the gate). There is also a small boot room which is very handy for storage and drying off wet dogs. The little table and chairs got lots of sun in the morning, which was lovely. Elaine & Bruce, the owners, live on site in the big cottage. We had a couple of issues when we first arrived, but when we contacted them they responded immediately even though they were away on holiday themselves. Things can go wrong with properties but Elaine & Bruce sorted everything as soon as humanly possible, and I couldnâ??t ask more than that. Thank you Elaine & Bruce

A cosy little cottage in a peaceful location within earshot of the sea. Well equipped little kitchen area and lounge downstairs. Upstairs the bedroom has a very comfortable bed, and down a few steps (mind your head!) is a bathroom, and also a very useful boot room with a back door leading to the small deck area. The welcome pack of lardy cake, milk, Prosecco and lager was much appreciated. Make sure one dinner is from the chip shop - great chips! Great location for walking holidays, or rockpooling on the beach. Combe Martin is a sweet, old fashioned sort of seaside town, which even in August was not too busy.

Great location near to the beach. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. Good access to coastal paths and Exmoor which we enjoyed. The cottage is not spacious but has plenty of character. A tall person might find it difficult not to band their head at least once on the holiday with the low ceiling in places.
