The Belvedere Reviews

Stephen
You cannot beat the position of the apartment and lovely views, always clean and tidy, many thanks again for a few nights visiting our friends in the village where we lived for many years
Paul
The accommodation was perfect, well equipped, great location , sea views from the sitting room, great coastal and village walks, would definitely book this again.
Peter
Nice flat in a great location for visiting Beer. You can see the sea from the lounge if you angle the chairs suitably, but mainly you're looking straight across the road at the properties opposite (which are pretty). The flat is comfortable and well equiped.
Malcolm
Excellent spacious property.location perfect. Had a really relaxing holiday, thoroughly enjoyed our stay,
Elisabeth
The Belvedere is an outstandingly well- presented let with, in my opinion, the best views in Beer. The newly refurbished terraces will be a joy to sit on in sunny weather.
Pat
The Belvedere is excellent self catering accommodation. Situated in the heart of Beer we enjoyed the everyday day life passing by and we were able to see the sea. Parking is an added bonus too. Beer has easy access to the costal path for stunning walks.
Anthony
We found the accommodation to be very light and airy, spotlessly clean and very comfortably furnished. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we could possibly need. All in all we would recommend the apartment to anyone looking for a quiet beach holiday.
Ruth
We would happily return. Location is great, as is Beer itself. The apartment is light and airy with a good view of the comings and goings on the main road to the beach which is two minutes away. It has a slightly period feel and some beautiful art and stained glass. Showers had great flow and storage. Bathroom cupds were very handy. Above a lovely art gallery. The shared terraced garden is great and well maintained by friendly and helpful neighbours within the building.
Justine
Lovely apartment, great location and views from the living area.
Jenny
We had a lovely stay at the Belvedere, the property was outstanding and in a fantastic location.
David
This place is wonderful! We had such a great time. It's peaceful but right in the heart of the lovely village and so many walks and lovely things to do within reach. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.
Michael
Lovely property, spacious and welcoming with beautiful sea views. Perfect location to enjoy Beer and all of the surrounding area, parking space is also a great plus. Would recommend
Angie
Excellent apartment for a Christmas break in Beer. Highly recommended. Bay window over looks the main street and had a view down to the harbour, a lovely size lounge, open fire, toasty heating, two good sized bedrooms and bathrooms Decorated for Christmas, which was a lovely touch Good selection of crockery and cutlery. If you like sharp kitchen knives take your own An excellent base for walking from, to Seaton, Branscome and just around Beer. We didn't move the car for 5 days! bliss :) Parking is to the rear of the property, is a bit tight but not impossible for a competent driver. Would recommend reversing off the road and into the allocated space We will hopefully be returning
Susanna
Lovely apartment and perfectly located We really enjoyed our stay
Tracey
A unique property in a great location.
Peter
The Belvedere is really well located, very close to the beach in Beer. You can sit in the huge bay window looking out at the sea, and watch the comings and goings along the main street. The apartment is very spacious and well appointed, with a comfortable King sized bed and comfortable sofas. There is access to the garden which slopes up steeply behind the property but offers great views over Beer and plenty of seating. There is a flight of internal stairs up to first floor apartment from a very small vestibule. There is a parking space, but it is down a narrow alley and requires skillful manoeuvring. After needing assistance to park at the property, we moved the car to the main car park which always has plenty of spaces out of season. It costs £25 for the week and the ticket covers all East Devon Council car parks (Exmouth, Budleigh Salterton, Sidmouth, Seaton) making it good value.
Elwyn
This property is well positioned, spacious and generally well appointed. We have recommended improvements in certain areas, particularly the lack of useable small saucepans.
Stephanie
The features in the property are beautiful and the location is perfect. Also I think the add needs to say that parking is limited, we couldn't park our camper van due to hight restrictions, i think some 4x4 would struggle too.
Elisabeth
This property is stunning. So close to the beach, beautifully presented, and just a lovely place to be. Highly, highly recommended.
Ann
Comfortable cottage in a very good location.
Pat
An excellent flat, all facilities were to a high standard. Idea in the heart of Beer too. A real benefit having parking on site. We will return
Stephen
Lovely positioned spacious apartment parking a bonus only downside bed rather low and a little tired otherwise A1
Steve
Excellent location and great view from the seating area in the bay window. Great location.
