Just returned from a week at Pear Tree Barn and so sad to leave. The cottage was gorgeous and so well appointed. Absolutely everything we needed was there. Cozy and comfortable and a stunning location. Some of the roads were a little hairy, especially down to the beach but a nice walk down instead though a bit of a puff back up! The garden was also lovely. Really secure and safe for our pooch. Short walk to the Dolphin Inn for a drink and pub meal and short drive to Bigbury and Burgh Island.

We loved this stay. The barn is a great place just to relax & unwind, extremely comfortable and one of the nicest places we have had the pleasure of staying at. The owners live close by and greeted us and explained the area which was very helpful. The area is great to explore and the nearby beaches are beautiful. Salcombe and Dartmouth are in easy reach and worth a visit, and there are some lovely places to eat but our favourite was The Oyster Shack and is well worth booking. We will go back.

Nearby Wonwell Beach is stunning and a must visit. Dolphin Inn has good beer and good pub food and is nearby. Pickwick Inn has good pub food but not as nice as the Dolphin. North Sands beach is dog friendly and very nice but parking is limited and there is not much choice for food and drinks etc

We had a lovely week at Little Pear Tree Barn, weather was great. Fantastic doggie proof garden too! Fantastic owners next door who advised us where to go, we visited Wonwell Beach which was down the road, we actually walked it in 25 minutes, be warned though not to drive as the road is very narrow and not many passing places. We also had a lovely little pub in the village which done food, great if youââ?¬â?¢ve got a dog as they have a beer garden. Itââ?¬â?¢s not stated but there is a hairdryer

We have just had a fabulous week at Little Pear Tree Barn. Itââ?¬â?¢s lovely location if you donââ?¬â?¢t mind narrow lanes & a great base for exploring a quieter part of Devon with some beautiful beaches to walk to. The photos do not really show how spacious it is. The bed & sofa are very comfortable & the shower efficient - all important things to us. The secure garden was perfect for our dog & the dog & human biscuits were very welcome.

A good property in a very remote location, great for getting away from it all. Full amenities and a comfortable bedroom. Typical narrow lanes to get to and from the property. Check the tide tables as the near by beach disappears at a spring tide.

There is ample parking and the instructions to reach the property were clear. The roads around the farm are small so we were glad to have followed the owners directions rather than the Satnav.
