Well designed modernisation and beautifully equipped. But ground floor is a very cold space in winter months. At time of permitted arrival heating had been programmed to switch off for 5 of the previous 7 hours. The log fire is good local heat once we went out to buy matches and figured out how to use it. But it does little to get the whole space warm

Walking in through the front door was like walking into a tardis. So light and roomy. Still held its character from the 1800 c with the brick work and samples of wallpaper and refurbish photos. Kitchen had so much space and all the necessities. So liked the secret shelves in the draws. Lots of hot water. Two good wash rooms and downstairs toilet aswell. A great house.

We had an amazing stay at 3-Bedroom, 2-Bathroom Cottage in Braunton! The house is very well located - within a very short walking distance of shops, cafes, restaurants, fish & chip shops and bars. Great for kids as there is a park in walking distance as well as a soft play - just in case of rainy days! Short drive to Saunton, Croyde and Ilfracombe, and bike hire for the Tarka trail not far off. The house itself was very clean & well supplied. Amazing to stay in a holiday house with sharp cooking knives and loads of childrenâ??s cutlery, crockery etc. Lots of books for all ages too, even bath toys! We will certainly be back.
