We loved the view from the 1-Bedroom Cottage in Tavistock! It was cool enough, facing east. There are 7 steep granite steps up to the front door (safe to leave unlocked!). The seating area outside is minimal, on gravel, next to the parked car, and had no shade, but we were out most of the time. The owners were friendly (they live next door, as does the old farmer). Birdsong and tractors - idyllic rural! Weââ?¬â?¢d be happy to return.
