Gullsway Upper Reviews

Ruth
A very comfortable and well equipped cottage with magnificent views across the Dart. It is a great base for walking in the surrounding area and Dartmouth had an enviable collection of boutique shops. The best beach for swimming is just 15 minutesâ?? drive away (Blackpool Sands Beach - a light shingle beach and calm deep water, ideal for swimming). It was nice to sit on the balcony in the early morning sun or in the evening - you are a bit overlooked by the neighbours, but the view of the Dart soon means you ignore them! Parking in the main car park was no hassle and an easy walk to and from the cottage.
Julia
Super accommodation with beautiful view. Even binoculars are provided which was great.
Philippa
A nice property with a lovely view.
Kerry

Jo
A lovely bright apartment very bright, stunning views very well equipped.
Diane
Beautiful apartment with amazing views. Really enjoyed our stay. Had everything we needed to enjoy our holiday. Only downside were the steps to and from the apartment but worth it once you get into the apartment
Fiona
We had a lovely week here. The view is the main event - just stunning. I hope to return.
Samantha
A gem of a find, the stairs were more than I thought, but was worth lugging the cases down to the most amazing view. The cottage was spotlessly clean and was just the most perfect location, 5 minute walk to the shops and restaurants. We used the car park suggested with the permit, and didnâ??t have a problem parking and getting a space, might be an issue in the school holidays. But all in all we had the most wonderful time, would definitely recommend this place to stay unless you had mobility issues, certainly helps to work off all those crab sandwiches, and Devon cream teas going up and down the steps. And I highly recommend the castle hotel pub for food, it was a real surprise how nice their food was in there, we went 3 times it was that good. Another little tip is to get the little boat to the castle, £3 per person each way, and spot the mermaid on the way. Thank you for a perfect staycation, we are already wishing we was back there.
Andrew
Great view and lovely cottage. Beware of the steps!
