Gladstone Reviews

Anthony
Well equipped cottage, excellent kitchen, comfortable beds, good location and within walking distance of all amenities, although the best pub in Braunton was probably the one next door, so look no further. Parking a bit hit and miss but not a real problem.
Samantha
The house has great character and is in a great spot for Braunton and seeing North Devon.
Shelley
Cottage was lovely, warm and comfortable in a great location. Easy walk into the town. It was well equipped and warm, plenty of hot water and a huge bath for post walk relaxation.
Richard
Great comfortable house in a lovely village. Very well equipped and situated for easy access to local beaches etc. Was clean on arrival, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay.
Kathryn
Lovely location, well equipped cottage. Parking was not a major issue and we were able to park directly outside most days. Black Horse next door was great for food, nice quiet, friendly pub.
Helen
Another excellent stay in Gladstone House. This was our third time and it is still as good as the first.
Katherine
Super holiday, using this cottage as an excellent base to explore. Lots of helpful information of where to visit. We hope to return.
Rebecca
Beautiful house in a great location.
Virginia
The cottage was in a good location - next to the pub , but very quiet. And only a 10 minute walk into the town. The cottage was very warm plenty of hot water! And a great kitchen
Adrian
Comfortable and quiet location. Limited parking in very narrow local roads. However, having a pub next door was a bonus!
Crawford
Really lovely property with lots of period features in great location, and walkable into town. Very comfortable with all required modern amenities. Owners were very responsive when we had a small issue with the cooker. Would recommend.
Amelia
We loved Gladstone - such a comfortable house with everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. Spotlessly clean and smelled really fresh on arrival. Comfortable beds etcâ?¦. Great pub next door but no noise from there as a small quiet place. We could walk in to town for whatever meal/ takeaway we fancied! Beautiful beaches a short drive away. Peaceful location - would recommend
Will
Beautiful house, everything you need, lovely beds.
Gail
Cottage in a good location for Tarka trail near lovely beaches. Close to shops pubs and restaurants. Parking is definitely an issue you can park in the Agricultural pub just nearby nead to leave your registration number and move your car by 11 am the next day. The cottage its self was fine but is a bit tired. Was well equipped but outside areas need some TLC.
Antonius
We spent 11 nights days in Gladstone. The house is pleasant and fully equipped. Parking in front of the house is not always possible, but solved by parking 5 muniten at Chaloners Road Car Park. Day trips using the house as a base are quite manageable.
rachel
Wonderful house, lovely period features and very cosy yet spacious.
Susan
We have recently spent 5 wonderful days at Gladstone. The house gave us, and our 2 dogs, everything that we could have possibly needed. Cosy settees, a log burner should it be needed (the house was super warm), fully equipped kitchen and a truly comfortable bed. We spent our days hiking the beautiful beaches locally, the evenings relaxing at the house. We visited the Black Horse Pub one evening, which is very conveniently next door to the house. First class food and service. We will definitely visit again.
Roslyn
Very comfortable, well-converted 3 bedroom house. Warm, clean and well-equipped.
