Mortehoe is a small village but has a great bistro, tearoom, two pubs and a post office/general store, and there's a shop at North Morte Farm campsite just a few yards up the road for essentials. Lovely walks and beaches in every direction. Hadn't been to this area before, but we'll be coming back.

A coastal gem in a village with everything a holiday maker may want. Two pubs serving food, a fantastic bistro, a post office with extras, tea rooms and, in peak season, a homemade takeaway and fish and chips. The proximity to the coastal path was a big draw that did not disappoint. Parking space and situated on a quiet road. The apartment had both bath and walk in shower. Lovely kitchen with everything you might need. Comfortable lounge and lots of streaming channels as well as free view. Large dining area. Good size bedrooms with comfortable beds. Extras such as wind breaks, rucksack etc. Everything thought of. Excellent standard.
