Sunnyside House Shaldon Reviews

Judith
A very spacious and comfortable house. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of china and cutlery. The downstairs area of the kitchen, dining area and lounge all interlink which makes it a great social space. The beds were very comfortable. The house is centrally located in Shaldon and within very easy walking distance of the London Inn. The garden is very secure for dogs. As a multi generational group we all really enjoyed our stay and it made an ideal base for us to visit our family who live nearby.
June
Another very good stay and will be going back - very relaxing and everything within easy reach. It was appreciated where the owners realised that people use an air fryer, which was there for our use.
Andy
Great location, great parking for 3 cars as parking is very limited in Shaldon. The house has excellent accommodation for 3 couples ( 3 beds, 3 baths ) even though it sleeps 8. Close enough to beach and pubs, no need to use your car all week. Great bus service just up the road. Pubs supplied excellent food or the kitchen had everything you needed to stay in. Will definitely go back.
Joan
A well equipped, comfortable cottage in good central location
Sylvia
Wonderful house. This lovely four bed house is tucked away up a narrow lane but is perfect for the week away we just had. Beds were very comfortable, plenty of seating and a fully equipped kitchen if you want to cook. Teignmouth is just a few minutes away, and is a lovely eclectic place to wander. We visited a few old houses etc, but came across Kents Caves by accident. If you are not claustrophobic I would highly recommend a visit. We also went to a nice restaurant called Smugglers Inn, which is not far from the town on the way out of Teignmouth. Be aware that the roads on Shaldon are very narrow, and you might have to back up now and then. The house no longer has a dvd player, but there is a smart tv. No hair dryer provided so pack your own.
Brenda
Lovely family house in a brilliant location. Parking in Shaldon is at a premium so having 3 parking spaces was a great bonus
Sarah

Absolutely beautiful house, with parking on site, and everything on the flat and shops, pubs, cafes in easy reach. Nice to find all equipment, ie tea bags, coffee, milk and biscuits as well as toilet rolls, soap in all bathrooms which I havenâ??t always found in numerous houses I have been to.
Mike
Very clean well equipped place warm and comfortable. Great for parking and all local places.
Rebecca
Lovely spacious property, a rare bonus to have 3 parking spaces & good sized garden, especially in such a central location of Shaldon.
Peter
Super location, smashing house, plenty of rooms, 4 adults + 2 dogs, walking distance of all village shops, pubs, restaurants & ferry.
Jeremy
We had a great stay in this lovely cottage. Tucked away in a quiet spot yet a short walk to beaches, pubs, restaurants and shops in lovely Shaldon. We found the accommodation to be quiet, comfortable, well equipped and with excellent parking. Shaldon is delightful with a fantastic small zoo, lovely beaches and fantastic butcher and bakers. Thoroughly recommend.

Sunnyside House is a lovely family sized property ideal for the 3 generations of our family group. Its location was excellent within easy walking of the beach and local shops, restaurants and pubs. Parking for 3 cars was an added bonus. .
Graham
Well appointed, spacious and very comfortable property in a quiet lane but in easy flat walking distance of an excellent range of amenities. Lovely sun trap garden with comfortable garden furniture.
David
Very comfortable and close to village shops and pub/cafe's.
Jane
Clean comfortable and well equipped Lovely location and nice owner
Clive
We were a party of three couples who had a very pleasant stay in a well presented and spacious holiday home. On the plus side was the large kitchen with modern appliances and a generous amount of crockery and utensils, although there was a lack of user instructions for some of the appliances, (for the less technically minded of us!). The central heating was excellent, (very welcome considering the weather!) and the gas fire in the lounge ensured cosy evening get togethers. The parking for 3 cars was a bonus. Local pubs and cafes were a short stroll away.
Joan
A fabulous home from home in an excellent location close to all amenities but very quiet and secluded. The house was so spacious, well equipped and ideal for the 3 generations of our family. Even better than the photographs and parking for our cars was certainly a bonus. Communication with the owners, was excellent. Would thoroughly recommend.
