Threshers Barn Reviews

Terence
Lovely comfortable barn conversion cottage with all the equipment and amenities you need for a fantastic stay made all the more enjoyable by the fantastic setting and owners.
Emma
We had a lovely time at Threshers Barn. The location was great for walks with dogs as Tarr Steps is only just up the road. The owners were lovely and welcoming as we did arrive quite late! Would highly recommend this cottage for a peaceful break. Thank you very much.
Philip
This is a wonderfully quiet location with great views. The owners are very welcoming (especially Spud!) The property is immaculate and clean, and in terms of self-catering has the best equipped kitchen Iââ?¬â?¢ve stayed at. With the location being central this gives you the perfect base from which to explore Devon & Somerset.
Patricia
The cottage was in pristine condition - very clean and comfortable. Plenty of personal space around the cottage.
Anna
We had a great holiday in this fantastic cottage. It was comfortable and well equipped. The garden was secure and had a fantastic view over the countryside. The owners were friendly and had helpful suggestions on places to visit. We loved Dunster, Tarr steps and Porlock Wier. We would definitely stay again next time we are down that way.
Sally
Could not have wished for anything more.

Threshers Barn was very relaxing, the photos do not show it true justice. The approach gave us smiles of delight at the lambs sunbathing in the field. The property has plenty of room, the kitchen is very well equiped we needed for nothing. The upside down nature of the Barn gives the most wonderful views of the surrounding countryside. Threshers Barn is lovely bright and super clean, even the dog was sad to leave. The delicious homemade scones were a bonus and didnt last long thank you.
Erin
Great place to relax and recharge. Set in beautiful countryside will be returning.
Pauline
Excellent accommodation, this is our third time at this amazing place. Spotlessly clean and warm In beautiful surroundings. Cannot fault it at all. Lovely owners. Home from home. Will definitely be going back.
James
We had a long weekend at Threshers Barn which was thoroughly enjoyable. The location is quiet and isolated in a converted barn next to a main farmhouse. The barn is excellently equipped with a full working kitchen and large living and dining areas. Robert and Deborah are very friendly and welcoming, leaving scones with cream and jam on arrival, which was a very nice touch. I would highly recommend staying here for a peaceful escape to the country.
Gary
Beautifully renovated barn in a wonderful location. Would highly recommend.
David
A beautiful location, well equipped and easy access to amenities in Dulverton.
Peter
Freshers Barn is very well equipped. Quiet, peaceful location, just what we were looking for. My wife had a very special experience while sitting quietly by the pond, a Kingfisher came very close to her and even sat on the post near her for several minutes before flying across the pond.
David
Amazing cottage set in beautiful location with access to secure paddock for dogs. Owners and their dogs very friendly. Cottage is really well laid out, large utility accessed from door which is great if you have dogs and open plan lounge/dining/kitchen area has lots of natural light.
Gill
The cottage was perfect for my husband and I and our dog, Oscar. It is very light and spacious, the views, just lovely. Everything is clean, the kitchen well equipped and the utility room is such an advantage when you have a dog and muddy wellies. I loved being able to walk through the garden gate, onto the fields with the dog at any time. There were sheep for the last couple of days, but my dog ignores them, so not a problem for us.
Jan
Beautiful, perfectly cleaned and equipped, holiday cottage with great views in a tranquil environment. Walking routes on your doorstep. Welcoming, friendly and supportive hosts.
Sue
Lovely and clean and all appliances, furniture etc best quality
David

Pauline
Beautiful setting, very rural, stunning barn conversion, absolutely stunning, second visit, so clean, everything you could possibly need. Hosts are very friendly without being intrusive. So comfy, didnââ?¬â?¢t want to come home and definitely going back for a third time.
