Southills Cottage Reviews

Glynne
Really lovely, cosy and spacious cottage in a great setting. The mezzanine sitting room and large bedroom especially appreciated with a king size bed long enough for me at 6ft 3ins. The local Hunter's Lodge has great food and beer, less than a mile away (but a steep walk back up to the cottage). Daynes Farm Shop, nearby, has fantastic organic beef, lamb, pork and goat meat - well worth a visit. Most of our meals used their meat! Local steam trains and boat trips really good and a visit to Agatha Christie's home at Greenway is essential.
Claire
A lovely cottage, comfortable and well equipped. Bathroom was a great size, which so often is not the case in holiday properties. Lots of things were really thought about and left for the holidaymakers to use. It is very remote, but that is my fault for not looking into the location better.
Pauline
Lovely spacious and comfortable cottage. Kitchen well equipped and bed very comfortable.
Joanne
Had a lovely stay we had amazing weather and it was a great base for exploring South Devon. Such a lovely spot and so quiet it was very relaxing. Highly recommend the Hunters Lodge for pie night on a Tuesday if you need gluten free they have lots of options, well worth a visit.
